2010National Coverage for local numbers
We’re glad to announce we now have national coverage for local numbers.
Local numbers can be added to an existing switchboard for only £6.99 per month (ex. VAT).
The following is a list of codes now supported (drop us an email if your looking for a code not on the list).

2010BT Exchange problems
Some press1 users report their customers have trouble getting through today.
This is due to flooding in one of BT’s exchanges which has had a knock-effect leading to widespread phone problems.

Note: The press1 network has not been affected at all by this outage, all problems are related to routing on BT’s network. -

2010VAT reduction
From Jan 1st 2010 VAT was reduced from 21.5% to 21%.
All VAT savings are past on to consumers.
The change in VAT affects pricing as follows
The following charges excluding VAT remain unchanged (ie. the price including VAT will be lower than before)

2010Outage today (5-01-2010)
We had an outage today of incoming call handling.
Fault Start Time: 11:11am
Fault Resolution Time: 12:37pm
Initial fault led to 30% of calls failing, removal of the faulty node led to overload and complete failure of all calls. The faulty nodes continue to be pro-actively monitored, the manufacturers are performing a full investigation.
